Flex Truck Driver - Class A Doubles - Penske Logistics
Earn up to $130,000 annually with additional performance incentives available, up to $10,400 annually. Travel required, up to 100 percent.
About the role
This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. You will unload trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and use a scanner to log products as they are unloaded and delivered.
Schedule
Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment. Drivers can expect to be away from home 2-3 weeks per assignment and will travel to an assigned location, working from there for the duration of the assignment.
Equipment
You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. Trucks are equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety for all.

- Represent Penske and client brands while driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in your state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency (required by federal law for compliance with 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Ability to work the required schedule and at the specified location
- Must complete Penske employment application, pass a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting required
- Frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg, and occasionally up to 100 lbs/45 kg
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
- Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
