About the role
This position requires regional travel to various locations as needed. Drivers represent Penske and client brands, often driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms.
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- Use scanner to log products during unloading and delivery
Schedule
- Dispatch times vary by assignment
- Away from home 1 to 3 weeks per assignment
- Travel to assigned location and work from there for the duration of the assignment

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency (required by federal law, 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Must work the required schedule and location
- Complete Penske employment application, background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening
Physical Requirements
- Ability to see and hear, with specific vision requirements including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Frequent movement, standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands to touch, handle, and feel
- Frequent reaching with hands and arms
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg, occasionally up to 100 lbs/45 kg
- Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
