Flex Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

Average annual pay: $120,000 with a $5,000 retention bonus. Earn $0.66 per mile, $26.50 per delivery, $80 per diem per night OTR, and more. No out-of-pocket travel expenses. Driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral.

About the role

You will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety. This role supports customer operations at various regional locations with multi-stop deliveries of bread products. Routes and assignments vary based on business needs, requiring flexibility to travel throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Travel regionally to support customer operations as needed.
• Perform multi-stop deliveries of bread products to customer locations.
• Cover a variety of routes and assignments based on business needs.

Schedule

• Dispatch times vary depending on work assignment.
• Must be available to work up to 6 days per week.
• Drivers can expect to be away from home 1 to 2 weeks per assignment.
• Flexibility required for regional travel and route coverage.

Pay is issued every Friday.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Must comply with all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• English language proficiency required (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
• Must work the required schedule and location, complete a Penske employment application, and submit to a background investigation and drug screening.

Physical Requirements
