Flex Security Officer - Part Time - Binghamton, NY
About the role
Securitas Security is seeking a part-time flexible office Security Officer to work at various locations throughout Binghamton and the surrounding area. Candidates must have their own reliable transportation as public transport does not operate during working hours. Those without a license must complete NYS Security training at either the Johnson City or Rochester NY office. Licensed candidates will need to attend orientation at the Johnson City office.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol client sites, including interior and exterior areas
- Enforce regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the area
- Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers
- Preserve order and maintain a safe and secure environment
- Occasionally assist with emergency response
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable using a computer
- Ability to perform interior and exterior foot patrols
- Open availability and ability to work all shifts and days
Qualifications
No prior experience is necessary. A background in retail, food service, or hospitality is beneficial but not required. Securitas will provide training for those without relevant experience.
