Flex Security Officer - Part Time - Binghamton, NY

About the role

Securitas Security is seeking a part-time flexible office Security Officer to work at various locations throughout Binghamton and the surrounding area. Candidates must have their own reliable transportation as public transport does not operate during working hours. Those without a license must complete NYS Security training at either the Johnson City or Rochester NY office. Licensed candidates will need to attend orientation at the Johnson City office.

Responsibilities

• Active monitoring of premises, including patrolling various locations
• Enforcing regulations and directives for client sites regarding personnel, visitors, and the area
• Providing customer service and information to client employees and customers
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable using a computer
• Ability to perform interior and exterior foot patrols
• Emergency response capability

Qualifications

Candidates should have open availability and be able to work all shifts and days. No prior experience is necessary, but a background in retail, food service, or hospitality is beneficial. Training will be provided for those without relevant experience.
