Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity
• Protect property
• Enforce rules on a property
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position
• Patrol areas and conduct security checks
• Provide protection for equipment and workers in factories and offices
• Check the credentials of vehicles and individuals entering and exiting the premises
• Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor
• Log visitor vehicles
• Announce visitors
• Control access to all persons to the property
• Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency
• Monitor CCTV camera systems
• Distribute packages

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to stand for up to 8-hour periods
• Extensive walking and stair climbing ability
• Ability to lift up to 10lbs
• Valid state licensing, if applicable
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks

Qualifications
