Responsibilities
- Advanced knowledge and full understanding of Heavy-Duty Electrical systems utilizing the proper Diagnostic Tools
- Able to identify the root cause of failures/conditions on all systems and components along with performing the repairs as required
- Major component rebuilds and replacement experience in engine, transmission, and axle systems
- Diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and road tests
- Mentor junior technicians
- Comply with all Federal and State compliance guidelines
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in automotive/heavy truck maintenance
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License (preferred)
- Prior training or experience in heavy-duty electrical systems diagnostics
- CFC 609 Certification
- Basic welding skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to pass post offer drug test, physical and background check
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
