About the role
At SIXT, we're looking for a Fleet Technician to ensure our vehicles are always in top condition. Your responsibilities include performing basic mechanical repairs such as oil changes, mounting and balancing tires, tire repair, brake and part replacements, completing pre-delivery inspections, achieving daily output goals, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic mechanical repairs including oil changes, mounting and balancing tires, tire repair, brake and part replacements
- Complete Pre delivery inspections on fleet vehicles as required by management
- Achieve daily output goals and maintain a minimum efficiency of 100%
- Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) every time repairs are performed, including safety glasses in the automotive shop
- Conduct daily clean-up of work area and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience as an automotive technician or have graduated from a trade school
- Hold ASE Certifications in Suspension & Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5), or be willing to earn them within your first year of employment
- Be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license with a clean record, and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts, and be open to travel (5-10%)
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: At least 2 years' experience as an automotive technician or have graduated from a trade school
- Certifications: Hold ASE Certifications in Suspension & Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5), or be willing to earn them within your first year of employment
- Licenses & Authorization: Be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license with a clean record, and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Work Hours & Travel: Work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts, and be open to travel (5-10%)

Pay
$22 per hour
Schedule
