Fleet Technician A (C Vacancy)

About The Position

We are presently seeking to fill a Fleet Technician A (C Vacancy) position at our Albany location, with a minimum starting pay rate of $36.67. In addition, we offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k) plan, vacation, tuition assistance and more.

Job Qualifications

• New York State Inspection License is preferred (heavy duty, light duty and emissions).
• Class A CDL License is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) valid ASE certifications, including but not limited to T-1, T-2, T-4, T-5, T-8 or Equivalent is preferred.
• Complete set of professional grade automotive repair tools required.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid’s Safe Driver policy.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Mechanics is required (heavy duty experience (trucks) and/or light duty).
