Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support, fleet release training, scheduled classroom training, and on-the-job training to the squadrons and commands that utilize JMPS.
- Collaborate with multiple, cross-functional teams to compile data inputs, establish training requirements, and review developed material.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 7 years of direct experience as a Naval Aviator or Naval Flight Officer which includes 4 years of experience in mission / strike planning and three years conducting NavMPS training and / or NavMPS curriculum development.
- Other Requirements: Current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility, U.S. Citizenship status is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience: In-depth experience developing technical documentation and training for military computer systems.
- DoD approved 8570 Baseline certification or civilian equivalent. Personnel performing IA functions must obtain one of the certifications required for their position category or specialty and level.
Skills & Technology Used
- Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Possesses both analytical and interpersonal skills. Good problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills/techniques.
- Business Partner/Effective Communicator: English language skills to communicate and negotiate with vendors. Strong communicator must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally.
- Ability to train, lead projects, direct employees. Customer service oriented, detail focused, pro-active behavior, multi-task capability.
- Software: Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint), personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.
