Essential Job Function
- Plans, directs, and coordinates training & development activities for organizational staff.
- Builds, reviews, and updates student/permanent party records and gradebooks.
- Uses GTIMS & SARM support to determine remaining continuation training/upcoming currencies.
- Ensures ground training requirements (e.g., IRC, CRM) and grounding or pre-deployment training requirements are met.
- Provides updates to squadron leadership regarding flight and readiness status of personnel.
- Daily/weekly tracks upgrade and continuation training accomplishments.
- Aids in new curriculum development, syllabi creation for aircrew and ground training for OST.
- Aids in preparation and execution of training/testing plans.
- Generates NMR letters, STRP briefings, and Proration Consideration Reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- An HS/GED diploma is required, with college coursework preferred.
- A SECRET clearance is required.
- At least 2 years of work experience in a DoD flying unit (active duty, guard/reserve, contractor, or civilian).
- Ability to operate the following systems/programs: computer-based management system (GTIMS/GDSS2 or equivalent), SharePoint websites & communities of practice.
- Experience using MS Suite for at least 2 years.
