Fleet Services Experienced Automotive Technician

About the role

The Hertz Corporation, a world leader in the car rental industry, is seeking energetic team players to join their maintenance team as an Experienced Automotive Technician. This role is the second level within the Hertz Corporation's maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance
• Conducting minor repairs
• Inspecting vehicles

Requirements

• At least three (3) years of vehicle maintenance experience
• Prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)
• American Society of Automotive Engineers (ASE) certifications (or equivalent)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License

Skills

• Ability to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
• Knowledge of using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

• Holiday Pay: Eligible (1.5 x regular pay rate for hours worked on a designated holiday, in addition to receiving 8 hours of holiday pay)

Pay

The hourly rate is $33.80, with eligibility for overtime pay and holiday pay.
