Fleet Technician - Experienced

About the role

We are seeking experienced Fleet Technicians to maintain and repair fleet vehicles, ensuring driver safety and vehicle reliability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs on Class 8 trucks and trailers
• Managing parts inventory and charging work to work orders
• Assisting with difficult repairs and providing technical guidance to entry-level mechanics
• Conducting preventative maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic systems
• Working in tight spaces and handling physical tasks, including lifting and climbing
• Collaborating with drivers, vendors, and team members to ensure fleet performance

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments
• Prior experience with Class 8 trucks and trailers, electrical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
• Certifications in air brake systems preferred
