Fleet Safety Coordinator - Night Shift

Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Schedule: Thurs/Fri/Sat every other Weds 6pm - 6am

Responsibilities

• Document all accidents and distribute reports to all necessary departments
• Responsible for post-accident testing set-up and follow-through
• Place vehicles out-of-service and drivers under compliance review following accidents, and contact Operations regarding these vehicles and drivers
• Provide electronic log assistance and guidance and report as requested
• Perform final audit on driver qualification files and follow information as required
• Review and approve TLS outside carriers
• Record and follow up on civilian driver complaints
• Communicate DOT Regulations and DOT interpretations in compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Computer skills: Excel, Word, Internet, AS400 and web-based systems
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills, compliance, implementation, and auditing tasks
• Familiarity with standard DOT or Agency Compliance concepts, practices, and procedures
• Goal oriented, self-managing with time & project consideration
