About the role

The jobholder offers regional fleet management support to ensure safe, reliable, economical operations with highest customer satisfaction for Airbus programs in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Fleet performance & program development (70%): Monitor and recommend improvements to fleet performance, define/mitigate issues, support program teams, provide data and reports.
  • Work in partnership with Customer Support Director community, develop relationships with central program teams, and support sales activities.
  • Develop knowledge of A320 and A330 programs, build relationships with customers, and support fleet performance tools.
  • Assist operators with handling methods, ensure customer satisfaction, and prepare reports.
  • Prepare and support new program entry into service (EIS), collaborate with SBX program team.
  • Safety (10%): Provide expertise, evaluate maintenance practices, and deliver safety-related reports.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction index and fleet performance, prepare reports, and support seminars.

Qualified Experience and Training

  • Required: General aeronautical/mechanical engineer, Bachelor degree level; over 10 years of experience in Customer Services business and/or airline maintenance & engineering.
  • PREFERRED: Master's Degree.
  • Knowledge of FAA/EASA regulations, experience with Electronic Data Processing systems.

Skills

  • Good presentation skills, ability to prepare and present technical issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, Portuguese highly desirable.

Travel

25% domestic and international travel required.
