About the Role

Responsible for repairing and servicing all company vehicles according to department standards. Meets expected service delivery times as defined by the department’s service standards or as required by the receiver of service.

Responsibilities

• Assists with general shop maintenance, parts stock, and/or cleaning services when required.
• Refuels company vehicles as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of company vehicles according to procedure.
• Operates motorized vehicles, i.e., automobiles, trucks, limousines, and buses.

Requirements

• High degree of mechanical experience and capability.
• Previous experience in servicing vehicles.
• Must have a valid NJ State Driver’s License.
• Commercial Driver’s License is a plus.
• Knowledge of diesel engines is helpful.
• Familiar with common mechanic’s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, bend, crawl, and climb repetitively.
• Must be able to work in an environment exposed to loud noises, fumes, dust, grease, as well as extreme temperatures.
• Must have the manual dexterity to handle tools, small parts, and heavy equipment.

Pay

$25.00 per hour
