Pay

Starting at $25.00/hour, with an expected base rate between $25–$32.46/hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace, and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (e.g., tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates)
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards
• Receive road calls, assign third-party vendors, and collaborate with business partners on action plans
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and government guidelines
• Use fleet maintenance software to document equipment repairs and parts used
• Backup other maintenance shop personnel
• Willingness to assume increased responsibility and certifications
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

• 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency for equipment repairs
• Independent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience administering a PM program
• Must furnish own personal hand tools
• Able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Class-A CDL license and DOT certification
• Experience using fleet maintenance software
• Welding ability
