The Opportunity: Tropicana Brands Group is seeking a Fleet Mechanical to support their Supply Chain team. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining Private Fleet of refrigerated tractor trailers in compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintaining electric forklifts, yard switchers, and electric floor scrubbers
- Completing routine PMI's and repairs on various vehicles
- Fueling tractors and refrigerated trailers when necessary
- Using diagnostic software to troubleshoot tractor engine/transmission faults
- Operating snowplows and salters during inclement weather
Foundational Ingredients
Requirements: To be considered, candidates must:
- Have 2-3 years' experience in fleet maintenance
- Be familiar with DOT PMI regulations and CMMS
- Communicate effectively with other mechanics and site management
- Be located in the Jersey City, NJ area or willing to relocate
- Be physically capable of performing tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Work shift work and be available for mid-week overtime and weekends
- Be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $42.32.
