Job Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and preventive servicing
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Repair and replace damaged or faulty parts and components
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet company and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Communicate with the Fleet Manager regarding vehicle conditions and repair status
- Ensure vehicles are operational and available when needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Experience using computer diagnostic tools and maintenance software
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and vehicle parts
- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Ability to work in noisy, dusty, and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
