Fleet Mechanic

We strive to provide a comfortable and inviting workplace. We understand that without our employees, there is no company! This is a full-time (40hrs per week) hourly position.

Required experience

• Must have 2 years minimum experience in work related to preventative maintenance and services.
• Experience is required in diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems on gas and diesel powered trucks as well as heavy construction equipment and small tools.
• Experience with heavy equipment, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems is mandatory.

Additional requirements

• CDL with excellent MVR is preferred to help in delivering equipment to projects.
• Operation of mobile service truck to and from various jobsites will be required.
• Ability to operate and work around heavy construction equipment (all-terrain forklifts, skid steers, backhoes, etc.) is required.
• Must have ability to maintain a “can do” attitude and ability to work with all team members in a fast-paced environment.
• A pre-employment background and drug screen is required.
• Must provide own tools.

Physical demands

• Stoop, bend, crouch, reach, kneel and climb frequently
• Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
• Frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive use of hands and wrists with various tools, including fine motor movements and manipulations
• Walk on uneven ground; exposure to cold/hot temperatures and dusty or dirty/greasy surroundings
