Fleet Mechanic - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform local, state, and federal inspections on all types of equipment
• Perform repairs to Peterbilt's, flatbed trailers, Overhead Cranes, Forklifts and other material handling and heavy equipment
• Perform brake reconditioning, suspension repairs, replacement of seals, alternators, starters, clutch, transmission and other general repairs for Class 1 to Class 8 vehicles
• Complete welding repairs
• Candidate may be required to perform road service a few times a year
• Work in outdoor elements at times

Requirements

• 1-5+ years of experience as a fleet maintenance mechanic
• A valid Class 7 State Inspection and Emissions license is preferred, but candidates without this license will be trained to obtain it
• General welding experience required
• ASE Certifications and Refrigeration license a plus

Qualifications

• The ability to work in both a team and independent environment, making decisions without the assistance of supervision
• Driver's License required

Schedule

• 3rd Shift working Sunday-Thursday
• Working from 9:00PM-6:30AM
• Availability for OT

Pay

• Third-shift coworkers receive a 25% shift differential
