Responsibilities
- Assesses the preventive maintenance schedule to ensure equipment maintenance is completed on schedule
- Mets with supervisor/lead to discuss work orders and priorities, proactively identifying any issues or conditions which might affect the operation of the equipment
- Utilizes maintenance systems to ensure timely and accurate documentation of maintenance and repair work performed
- Effectively collaborates with other departments as appropriate
Requirements
- High school or equivalent (GED)
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Must provide and maintain essential mechanic tools and toolbox for daily tasks
- Required to complete SpartanNash certification for safe driving skills for material handling equipment, tractors, and trailers (training provided)
Physical Requirements
- Must frequently sit, walk and stand, use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools or controls, and use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls
- Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed
- Subject to a warehouse environment and may frequently be exposed to changes in temperature and humidity based on assignment
- Subject to working weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
