About The Position Compensation: $20 - $30 / hour depending on qualifications and experience Job Description Work closely with management to ensure vehicle and equipment maintenance goals are metPerform maintenance on all company vehicles and equipment including but not limited to: trucks, trailers, wood chippers, stump grinders, chainsaws.Coordinate with vendors for vehicle maintenance services and repairsDrive company vehicles to and from the yard safely Requirements Growth oriented, proactive, problem solving, and professionalDriven and self-motivated, as you will be working alone majority of the timeIndustry experience in fleet maintenance or equipment maintenance is essentialKnowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and regulatory requirementsPrior mechanic experiencePrior heavy truck/trailer repair and maintenance (plus, not required)Strong dedication to safetyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehiclesAbility to work outside in various weather conditionsValid driver’s license AND clean driving record (REQUIRED) Benefits Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offCompany holidays401(k) Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule Monday to Friday **with the understanding that working some weekends may be required Experience 3 years of mechanic experience preferred License/Certification Driver's License (Required)Clean Driving Record (Required)
