About the role

Join the Ford Pro Fleet Management Services Team to provide sales and service support for commercial fleet customers contracting for fleet management services. As a Fleet Management Technical Support Specialist, you will assist fleet customers with the management of service and maintenance repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate documentation on all maintenance and repair events.
  • Verify that all repair and maintenance work is necessary and performed at a competitive price.
  • Negotiate repair costs on behalf of the customer when applicable.
  • Document all cost savings, including identification of recommended repairs that are not needed.
  • Ensure the appropriate preventative maintenance schedule is followed.
  • Ensure agreed-to charges for services performed align with the final amount charged.
  • Assist with the development of processes and tools to streamline delivery of maintenance management services to customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical automotive experience required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current or prior ASE certification as a Master Technician required.

Qualifications

Even better, you may have:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in automotive-related programs such as Automotive Technology, Automotive Technology Management, Field Service Operations, Advanced Vehicle Systems, Automotive Engineering Technology, Automotive Service Technology, or Automotive Industry Management.
  • Prior work experience in a Business Center environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Programs, familiarity with MSD and Salesforce.
  • Prior fleet management services experience strongly preferred.
  • Working or repair knowledge of vehicle classes 1 through 8.

Pay

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74,300 to $124,500. Final determination of salary grade will be based on the candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility, and competitive market value.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
