Fleet Maintenance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of the company light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles, construction vehicles, work equipment, and the security of Company assets assigned to the garage.
• Responsible for the appropriate use of company resources while maintaining compliance with all governmental regulations and corporate policies and procedures;
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
• Must have a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and repair guides.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Experience with preventative maintenance practices.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Pay

• Wage Schedule: 1st year $ 48.22 per hour 2nd year $ 49.19 per hour 3rd year $ 53.55 per hour 4th year $ 56.52 per hour Thereafter $ 58.24 per hour
