Responsibilities
- Ensure all contractual requirements are achieved
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years journey level mechanic experience
- Full knowledge and extensive experience in engine repair, automotive electrical, and air conditioning repair
- Prior experience in transit maintenance
- Three (3) years of experience in maintenance supervision of five (5) or more mechanics
- Experience managing the maintenance functions of a transit bus maintenance shop similar in scope, size, and complexity with 150+ transit vehicles/equipment
- Recent (within the last five (5) years) and relevant experience managing the maintenance functions of a transit bus maintenance shop similar in scope, size, and complexity with 150+ transit vehicles/equipment
- Passenger transportation experience in current project or similar environment preferred
- Ability to manage and interface with clients
- Technical competence with light/medium/heavy duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance
- CDL class C with passenger and airbrake endorsement
