About the role
Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead a team of Technicians and Mechanics in Indianapolis, IN. The successful candidate will oversee daily fleet maintenance and repair operations, manage high-volume repair orders, supervise shop operations, ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed, and coordinate with clients, dealerships, and vendor service providers.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily fleet maintenance and repair operations, ensuring minimal downtime
- Oversee a high volume of repair orders and prioritize workflow for maximum efficiency
- Supervise shop operations and/or maintenance staff as applicable
- Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed and documented
- Manage parts and inventory, including ordering, tracking, and cost control
- Review repair estimates, invoices, and warranty claims for accuracy
- Cookordinate with clients, dealerships, and vendor service providers to ensure quality work
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, DOT requirements, and company policies
- Analyze maintenance data and recommend improvements to operation
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of fleet management or shop management experience
- Strong technical/mechanical background (hands-on experience preferred)
- Proven history of managing high-volume repair orders
- Demonstrated experience with inventory and parts management
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications

Pay
$95,000 to $105,000/yr. based on experience plus additional annual bonus incentives
