- 2nd Shift Premium: $2.50 Per Hour
- 3rd Shift Premium: $3.50 Per Hour
- CDL holders eligible for an additional $2.00/hr rate
Schedule
1st shift: Sunday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
About the Role

As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you’ll ensure vehicles are fueled, clean, and safe before they hit the road again. You will be the face of Penske—the person greeting our customers when they arrive and sending them off with a smile. This role is an excellent starting point for those interested in vehicle maintenance, offering hands-on training and opportunities to advance to a technician position.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and ensure a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles
- Perform vehicle readiness inspections, checking tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items
- Maintain clean and safe facilities for customers and associates
- Build skills through training and hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs, such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance
- Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by a supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to work outside
- Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to understand and comply with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, and regulations established by Penske management
- Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and all Penske safety and maintenance policies, including proper use of PPE and safety practices
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Willingness to work the required schedule and at the specified location
- Completion of Penske employment application, background screening (including criminal checks, past employment, and education), and drug screen
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a driver qualification file, including annual MVR checks and Safety Performance History records from prior employers (last 3 years)
- CDL holders subject to DOT drug screening within 30 days of start and FMCSA Clearinghouse review
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, accepting responsibility for personal and others’ safety
Physical Requirements
- Frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods
- Routine and daily use of hands to grasp, reach, touch, handle, or operate tools and controls
- Ability to work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms
- Ability to work safely in all weather conditions
- Ability to see and hear to safely navigate the work environment, especially with large trucks moving through the workplace
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
- Ability to push/pull truck tires exceeding 100 pounds on a regular basis
