Fleet Maintenance Advisor
This is a hybrid role based out of our Support Center in Franklin, TN, with Monday through Thursday in the office and Fridays as a designated work-from-home day.
About the role
Call center-based automotive repair specialist responsible for analyzing vehicle maintenance and repair requests from external providers, advising field operations on the most cost-effective service, and authorizing work. Facilitates payment for requested service with purchase order and virtual card issuance, records vehicle maintenance history in an electronic enterprise asset management database, and administers and negotiates vehicle warranty claims across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Answers inbound inquiries from internal and external customers via phone, fax, and electronically.
- Creates and accurately enters maintenance work orders in the Fleet Maintenance system.
- Analyzes data and information to assist in repair decision making.
- Authorizes payment to suppliers, including billing reconciliations.
- Makes outbound calls to answer customer inquiries as needed.
- Responsible for following established maintenance policies, procedures, and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred; 1-3 years experience with fleet, maintenance, dealerships, or service centers.
- 1-3 years experience in a customer service position.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of maintenance policies, procedures, and processes.
- Ability to gather data and information to problem solve.
- Ability to make sound business decisions by utilizing data and information.
- Ability to handle and resolve customer concerns.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English is required.

Pay
Pay range: $45,818.00 - $76,364.00. This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience.
