FLEET INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

Knife River is currently seeking a qualified individual to install tracking devices and systems across our company fleet. This role also includes monitoring system functionality to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Typical schedule is Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with Saturday as needed.
Requirements
- Proficiency with computers, tablets, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Preferred experience with heavy equipment and construction vehicles (diesel and gasoline).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Familiarity with Samsara, Track-It, FleetWatcher, and FuelMaster is preferred.
Skills
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, transmissions, and related equipment.
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Skilled in the safe operation of hand tools and equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and technical proficiency preferred.
