About the role

Fleet Dispatcher schedules deliveries to Costco warehouses, conveys pertinent information to drivers and depot personnel, and provides a high level of member service.

Responsibilities

• Uses computer software to coordinate load drops and routes for available drivers.
• Uses 2-way radio to communicate pertinent information to drivers and depot personnel.
• Communicates with warehouses, drivers, and contractors via phone, 2-way radio, and email.
• Transports fleet supplies from depot floor and organizes in fleet office.
• Operates vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
• Assists with department duties as necessary.
• Assists in other departments of the warehouse as needed.
