About the role
Cox Fleet is hiring a Fleet Services Coordinator II to support company growth. This role involves managing maintenance transactions, ensuring accurate documentation, and delivering excellent customer service. You will collaborate with Field Operations to schedule technicians and proactively engage customers to drive repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the billing process across all markets in your area.
- Manage the follow-up maintenance transactions lifecycle from origination until the customer unit is in control/custody of the repair technician.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation and notation in all Cox Fleet systems for each customer contact.
- Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customer calls, establishing positive rapport.
- Obtain customer approval for all repairs and services to be performed.
- Proactively contact customers to schedule preventative maintenance at regular intervals, driving repeat business.
- Partner and communicate consistently with Field Operations to schedule the right technicians, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Encourage customers to schedule repairs and maintenance in advance, creating a consistent pipeline of work for technicians.
- Continuously develop and improve company capabilities in dispatching and service scheduling.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field. Alternatively, any level of degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience, or 5 years' experience in a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally, building positive relationships, and becoming a trusted partner.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance a variety of tasks.
- Strong Excel and data entry skills, with the ability to learn new platforms (e.g., Cox Fleet IT Systems, including Web Wrench, MobileFrame, RO Writer).
- Common knowledge of the trucking industry; experience with fleet maintenance or other transportation experience in automotive/trucking is helpful.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
- 20% of the work will be performed at the physical office.
- Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
Pay
Hourly pay rate ranges from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour. The base rate may vary within this range based on factors such as location and the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may also be eligible for additional compensation, including commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Schedule
Thursday – Monday.
