Primary Duties
- Prepare and submit accurate quarterly IFTA fuel tax reports for multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintain detailed records of fuel purchases, mileage, and other relevant data required for IFTA reporting.
- Aid in providing documentation and information during IFTA audits and reviews.
- Monitor fuel tax regulations, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Act as a liaison between drivers, management, and fuel vendors to obtain necessary data for reporting purposes.
- Address any issues related to IFTA compliance, invoicing and coding promptly to contribute to the development of more efficient workflows.
- Analyze fuel consumption, mileage data, billing activities, coding trends and invoice processing status to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Review and process invoices related to fleet services, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain detailed records of invoices, bills, and coding information, both electronically and physically.
- Cook with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Exposure to strong used cooking oil odors.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A valid IL drivers license with a clean driving record.
- At least two years of related experience with IFTA compliance, invoicing, billing or reporting requirements, preferably in a fleet management or other administrative role.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
