Flatbed Specialist

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload all inbound and outbound flatbed freight, including proper load securement.
• Label and tag freight with correct identifying information.
• Verify materials against work orders for accuracy.
• Complete shipment documentation accurately, courteously, and on time.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service during all interactions.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Conduct basic inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning of equipment.
• Support general warehouse operations and customer service activities.
• Assist coworkers and other departments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screening.
• Hazardous Materials Certification.
• Forklift Certification.
• Basic understanding of freight or transportation operations.
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes in workflow and priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Completion of all required training and recertification.
• Ability to understand and follow regulations, procedures, and policies.
• Ability to operate all equipment used within the department.
• Safety footwear required.
