About the role
The role involves managing traffic at road construction sites, ensuring safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervises traffic control devices and personnel.
- Ensures all traffic signals are functioning properly and in accordance with traffic laws.
- Monitors and directs traffic flow during construction activities.
- Communicates with contractors and other stakeholders regarding traffic management issues.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of traffic control devices and procedures.
- Experience in traffic management or related field.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Traffic Management or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in using traffic control equipment.
- Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
