About the role
The role involves managing traffic at road construction sites, ensuring safety and compliance with traffic laws.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervises traffic flow at construction zones.
- Ensures all workers adhere to safety protocols.
- Communicates with drivers and pedestrians to maintain order.
- Monitors weather conditions and adjusts traffic management strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of traffic control devices and procedures.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Experience in traffic management or related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in using traffic control equipment.
