About the role

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a Verifiable CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a Passenger Endorsement
Must have 5 years of driving experience preferred; 3 years required which must be verifiable through DMV
Must be able to pass a Federal background check which includes a lifetime search and fingerprint, which will need to be verified by the VA State Police
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical
Customer Service Experience a plus
Possess excellent communication (written and verbal) and decision making skills
Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Be neatly groomed and uniformed
• Perform vehicle Pre-Trip Inspection
• Complete Pre-Trip Inspection Report and deposit copy
• Report any corrections to Dispatch and or Maintenance Supervisor
• Operate his/her vehicle in a safe and courteous manner at all times
• Observe and obey all posted speed limits and traffic laws
• Maintain a current Commercial Driver’s License current, DOT Card
• Report any changes in their driving record immediately upon change
• Document all times, passenger counts, incidents, or any other information requested
• Assist passengers with luggage, carriages and other bulky items to ensure safe transport
• Aid ADA passengers to ensure safe transport
• Follow all safety requirements as instructed by safety manager
• Follow all other duties as required
