Bus Driver (Part-Time)
Responsibilities
- Drives 44 seat passenger bus to transport military passengers over specified routes to local points according to time schedule.
- Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
- Complies with local traffic regulations, and reports delays or accidents to transportation motor pool (TMP).
- Checks gas, oil, and water while inspecting bus before and after transporting Soldiers.
- May drive diesel powered buses to transport passengers over established on-post routes.
- Performs preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) before, during, and after transportation missions.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- No minimum years of bus driving experience.
- Valid and current medical card or insurance equivalent.
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
- Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result, obtain and maintain a CAC.
- Applicant must possess a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.
