Fixed Operations Specialist (St. Louis Market)
About the role
Serve as a consultative expert in dealer fixed operations, helping drive growth, retention, and performance of Ally’s F&I products and claims offerings across the assigned territory. This role partners closely with dealers and internal matrix teams to deliver strategic guidance, identify opportunities for improved profitability, and reduce claims leakage.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with dealer personnel including principles and key decision-makers
- Analyze assigned accounts to identify opportunities for loss control
- Create and implement customized action plans for each assigned dealer to address identified opportunities
- Handle individual claims as needed or reconcile claim issues including adjudication of complex claims
- Perform mechanical inspections at assigned accounts based on business need
- Engage in and lead special projects
Requirements
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to St. Louis, MO, requiring travel throughout the surrounding St. Louis and Kansas City area
- Work Schedule: Fully on-site, hybrid, or fully remote, with specific days of in-office work as discussed with your manager
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of Automotive industry experience; prior dealer experience preferred
- Automotive technical expertise
- Ability to develop relationships with dealer principals and decision makers
- Problem solving capabilities
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Analytical skills to assess data and identify trends
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Power BI
- Strong customer service skills and professional presence

Pay
Base Pay Range: $85000 - $150000 USD
Schedule
Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process.
