About the Role
As a Fixed Operations Consultant, you will drive dealership performance through operational management and execution, collaborating with various teams to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and foster behavioral change.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Management and operational roles to diagnose, analyze, and develop action plans for improving dealership performance.
- Create implementation plans, present findings, and work with dealership management to gain support, change behavior, and drive results.
- Build relationships at all levels of the dealership to facilitate change implementation.
- Develop and improve operational solutions in collaboration with Regional Operational Managers and the extended team.
- Communicate analyses, strategic plans, and dealership actions, challenges, and opportunities to Account Management and other operational roles.
- Participate in regional meetings and leverage Carline Specialists and other centralized resources as needed.
- Implement Dealer Tire solutions tailored to dealership needs to maximize opportunities.
- Manage all activity tracking and account information in Salesforce.
- Communicate dealership activity challenges to management and submit timely update reports, itineraries, and expense reports.
- Complete service lane assessments at the dealership.
- Analyze and diagnose dealership gaps and drivers (e.g., inventory diagnostics, inspection process, selling strategies).
- Interpret dealer data to identify opportunities and determine actionable steps.
- Develop product screen recommendations and implementation strategies to meet business objectives.
- Work with dealerships to establish retail pricing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Understand dealer compensation plans and their impact on the offering and selling of tires and maintenance products.
- Create and execute customized coaching solutions to improve dealership personnel performance.
- Assist personnel with tools (DRSG) and capabilities to present tire and maintenance options to customers and close sales.
- Assess the competitive market and conduct mystery shops to identify gaps and improve performance.
- Demonstrate the value of a successful inspection process (including Op Codes, RO) and assist dealers in achieving success.
- Perform the role of service advisor to increase service lane sales and partner with advisors to develop their sales skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Sales, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in dealership or automotive service operations.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency at an intermediate level with all Microsoft Office products.
- Must meet the requirements of Dealer Tire’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy and Company Vehicle Fleet Policy.

Physical Requirements
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Frequent bending, crouching, and twisting.
- Lifting at least 35 pounds.
- Travel required – approximately 80%.
