Fixed Income Underwriting Specialist – Municipal Bonds

About the role

The Fixed Income Underwriting Specialist – Municipal Bonds is responsible for supporting the municipal bond underwriting process. This includes preparing documents, coordinating with clients, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review municipal bond documentation, such as offering memoranda and prospectuses.
• Coordinate with clients and underwriters to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Ensure compliance with municipal bond laws and regulations.
• Support the preparation of marketing materials and presentations for municipal bond offerings.
• Handle inquiries from clients and regulatory bodies regarding municipal bond transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in municipal bond underwriting or financial services.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of municipal bond laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with Bloomberg Terminal or similar financial analysis tools.
• Passion for municipal bonds and fixed income markets.

Skills

Pay

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually.
