Fixed Income Ops

Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic operations team supporting a fixed income trading desk, where you will manage the full trade lifecycle and ensure smooth day-to-day execution. You will oversee trade capture through settlement and reconciliation, partner closely with front office and risk teams to resolve discrepancies and take ownership of daily P&L reporting with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities

• Support the fixed income trading desk end-to-end, ensuring seamless and efficient daily trading operations
• Oversee the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation
• Build and enhance automated tools using VBA, Python, and SQL to drive efficiency and reduce manual risk
• Partner closely with trading, risk, and back-office teams to investigate and resolve trade discrepancies
• Perform daily P&L reconciliation and reporting, maintaining accuracy and adherence to internal and regulatory standards
• Continuously evaluate existing workflows, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing best practices
• Uphold compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies, with a strong focus on operational risk management

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in middle office or trading support, with a focus on fixed income
• Strong technical skillset, including hands-on experience with VBA, Python, and SQL
• Deep understanding of fixed income products, trade lifecycle processes, and market conventions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with trading platforms such as Bloomberg and Tradeweb is a plus
