Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's fixed asset register, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data.
- Calculate and record monthly depreciation for all fixed assets.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations of fixed assets.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reports.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to optimize the utilization of fixed assets.
- Assist in the development and implementation of fixed asset management policies and procedures.
- Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets.
- Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist auditors in their inquiries.
- Support the budgeting process by providing information on fixed assets.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Exceptional knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, particularly in relation to fixed asset management.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and produce meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and to take initiative in optimizing processes and procedures.
Pay
$70,000 - $90,000 per year
