Fitter Welder - Air Controlled Facility

About the role

MIG WELDER/FABRICATOR responsible for producing high-quality welds in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce precise welds efficiently, ensuring materials meet customer specifications.
• Determine appropriate welding methods when not specified on blueprints.
• Perform first-piece inspections and submit parts for quality assurance.
• Maintain records to ensure correct production quantities.
• Organize work to optimize efficiency based on job complexity and deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least one year of MIG welding/fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Comfort with flat, horizontal, and vertical uphill welds.
