Fitness Trainer

Responsibilities

• Create a class schedule for members, including orientation and DYOP.
• Engage with members on the club floor regarding their fitness goals, instruct them on equipment usage, and offer support.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members and upholding club policies.
• Perform a comprehensive walk-through of fitness areas to ensure a great member experience.
• Address issues promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours, assessing needs and offering Trainer services.
• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club, assisting with any questions or concerns.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
• Clean and sanitize exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities daily.
• Maintain restrooms by ensuring they are clean, sanitized, stocked, and clutter-free according to the routine cleaning schedule.

Requirements

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Physical demands include continual standing, moving, communicating, lifting up to 75 pounds, and encountering toxic chemicals.

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $18.50 to $20.00. Planet Fitness reserves the right to pay below or above the posted range based on factors unrelated to protected classes.
