Responsibilities

• Create a class schedule for members, including orientation and DYOP (Develop your own program).
• Engage with members on the club floor regarding their fitness goals, instruct them on how to safely use the equipment, and provide support as needed.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone® by connecting with members on the club floor, offering assistance, and showing support while upholding club policies.
• Frequently perform a comprehensive walk of all fitness areas to ensure a great member experience and quickly address issues as they arise.
• Perform prospective member calls and tours, assessing their membership needs, and offering Trainer services.
• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club, assisting them with any questions or concerns.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
• Regularly clean and sanitize all exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities, including communal spaces and your assigned area.
• Maintain restrooms by ensuring they are clean, sanitized, stocked, and clutter-free according to the routine cleaning schedule.

Requirements

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Physical Demands: Continual standing and moving throughout the club, continual communicating, lifting up to 75 pounds, encountering toxic chemicals, frequent cleaning and sanitizing, moving in different positions, including bending and twisting.
