Fitness Trainer

About the role

Planet Fitness enhances people's lives by providing a high-quality fitness experience in a welcoming, judgement-free environment. As a fitness trainer, you will operate the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF).

Responsibilities

• Create a class schedule for members, including orientation and DYOP.
• Engage with members on the club floor regarding their fitness goals, instruct them on equipment usage, and provide support.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by interacting with members and enforcing club policies.
• Perform a comprehensive walk-through of fitness areas to ensure a great member experience.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours, assessing needs and offering trainer services.
• Greet members/guests, assist with inquiries, answer phones, and perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks.

Requirements

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally certified training certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Physical demands include continual standing, moving, communicating, lifting up to 75 pounds, and exposure to toxic chemicals.

• Compensation range: $15.92 to $17.42 per hour.
