Latitude Margaritaville Daytona is seeking a Part-Time Fitness Front Desk Attendant to join our team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional resident service, maintaining the fitness center, and supporting community events.
About the Role
The Fins Up Fitness Attendant performs a variety of duties, including greeting guests, assisting with fitness equipment, managing class registrations, setting up fitness classes, and enforcing fitness center rules. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and problem-solving abilities to authentically deliver the Latitude Margaritaville lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident service, including greeting guests and assisting with fitness center equipment.
- Register residents for fitness classes and set up classes as needed.
- Clean and maintain fitness equipment, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Enforce fitness center rules and promote safety and welfare for all residents.
- Assist with community events and activities, both fitness-related and non-fitness-related.
- Wipe down fitness machines and remove towels, trash, and debris from the fitness center.
- Conduct inventory of supplies and inform supervisor of low stock items.
- Provide information to residents about upcoming events and activities.
- Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for residents and guests.
- Assist injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; complete safety training.
- Maintain high energy and passion during service hours.
- Support the fitness center team, including Massage Therapists, Personal Trainers, and Fitness Instructors.
- Keep the fitness center clean and organized.
Requirements
- High school graduate (Fitness Degree or certifications preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in a fitness center environment.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows software, online ordering platforms, and inventory controls.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently in the absence of the Fitness Manager.

Pay
$17 - $19 per hour
Schedule
Part-time with full-time weekend availability required.
