Fitness Desk Attendant

Essential Responsibilities

• Ensure an exceptional level of customer service is being provided to all members, clients, and guests.
• Monitor safety of all participants while using fitness equipment.
• Maintain a superiorly clean fitness center, while also helping the overall facility maintain standards of cleanliness.
• Energize and motivate clients and members to provide a fun and safe experience.
• Promptly answer phone calls, requests, and questions.
• Aid coworkers in any manner necessary to maintain a collective, smooth effort in providing excellent services.
• Respond to member inquiries in a timely manner, with accurate and thorough information.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and presentable fitness area at all times.
• Tour fitness spaces to spot check cleanliness and showroom quality conditions.
• Always exceed member’s expectations and needs.
• Wear location approved uniform for each specific LIVunLtd location where you are working.
• Maintain strong communication with LIVunLtd coworkers.
• Provide emergency first aid if needed.
• Adhere and adapt to all current and new LIVunLtd policy, procedures and initiatives.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities specific to the location / building and upon the request of your manager.

Skills And Qualifications

• CPR/AED Certification and/or willingness to obtain certifications within the first 30 days of hire.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and / or weekends.
• Must be available in evenings and Saturdays as needed.
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
• Must be a team player, patient, diplomatic, self-motivated, organized, have excellent verbal skills, and a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to observe interactions between members and guests to ensure incidents do not arise.
• Must be able to safely lift and move up to 40 lbs.
