Fitness Attendant
About the Role
The Westerfield Club in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven professional to join our private club fitness center. This role is ideal for a driven individual eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization as part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and assist with fitness center needs.
- Answer phones and respond to member inquiries.
- Schedule training and other appointments.
- Perform minor custodial duties, such as wiping fitness equipment.
- Handle opening and closing duties as needed.
- Professionally demonstrate knowledge of facilities and services offered at the club.
- Ensure only authorized individuals enter the facility.
- Provide professional and courteous service to all inquiries, whether in person or by phone.
- Escort members or guests needing assistance whenever possible.
Requirements
- Familiarity and understanding of fitness equipment.
- Ability to read and speak English to perform job duties.
- Member service-oriented with a professional manner.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Interest in fitness preferred.
- Previous experience preferred.
